Changing WIN7/64bit Startup Sound

    Changing WIN7/64bit Startup Sound


    How can I do this?!
    imageres.dll file of WIN7/64 bit version is in the C:/windows/sysWOW64 folder
    but I cannot edit this folder. how can I do that

    we cannot change Startup sound from here, STARTUP not Login sound.

    hi trapdoor, welcome to sevenforums,

    how about this tutorial instead?

    or is that what you've already tried to do?

    i really cannot understand why microsoft don't let you change the startup sound without resorting to res-hacking.

    Thanks, yes I have tried that tutorial and learned how can I edit Startup sound and where can I found startup file but this tutorial for 32bit WIN7
    sysWOW64 need Ownership allow, I used TakeOwnership tool but still not editable folder... pfff
