    Rearrange HD icons non-alphabetically?

Minor annoyance, can't find a solution. Is it possible to change the order of the hard drive icons? I want to keep my backup drive as B: and call it "Backup", but I want the C: drive listed first.

You can try to sort them by size

The answer is no and yes.

No there is no way to arrange non alphabetical, other than on size or other parameters.

Yes, in your case a workaround is quite simple.

give other drive letters in diskmangagement.

Start with the highest letter, in your case F: and change that to G:

    next change E: to F:, next D: to E:

Now change the B: drive to D:

Your C: will now be the first in line.

    Good luck

You can do it, go to your folder option and deselect show drive letters and then you can arrange them alphabetically or numerically.
