Windows 7 "use small icons" + Date

Hey guys
I was wondering if it is anyhow possible to use Windows 7 "use small icons" for startbar (superbar), but in a same time to be able to feet in the taskbar the Date as well? Because when I tick "use small icons" it's showing only the time (clock). If there is any tweak pleas let me know ))

p.s. I don't wanna install any software like "TClock", but I am up to any tweak )

Thank you very much for reading this, hope there is a positive answer to this

Hello Hikeman,

Using the tutorial below may help you to have the data and time format how you want on the taskbar only if you use large icons on the taskbar.

Date Format for Taskbar System Tray - Show Full Day and Month Names

Hope this helps,
Shawn

You , it is possible, but you may not like the solution !
Place the taskbar (with small icons) to either left or right of the screen.

If you ask me that you want it with the taskbar placed at the bottom, sorry I dont have an answer

What went wrong with me, Shawn ? I used this settings ...
Windows 7 "use small icons" + Date-capture2.jpg

It changed the large taskbar as wanted ...
Name: Capture.JPG
Views: 363
Size: 11.2 KB

But for small taskbar, it expands the clock area only

Ooops, you're correct Arrchie. I missed the Recycle Bin (toolbar) that I had on the taskbar that let the full date show with the other taskbar icons set as small.

So that's the way to achieve it ? To use Recycle Bin - Pin to Taskbar , and then Date Format for Taskbar System Tray - Show Full Day and Month Names ?

If you are using the default aero theme I can change that for you. Using Windows Style Builder I can change the size of that font only to 8 and I can get the date and time both.
If you are using a custom theme you will need to ask the theme maker. It's not cool to change someone else work.
&
This is making a custom theme so you will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.
Enabling Custom Themes - Windows 7
Or
Theme - How to Apply Custom Themes
Let me know if this is something you are interested in if so all's I need is a name to call the theme and I will post it here for you.

That's just one way, or add any toolbar to the taskbar, or drag the height of the taskbar up a level until it shows.

Thanks guys for ll your responses!
Hey Bongo, I think your suggestion is exactly what I need For the moment on my Windows 7 theme I am using the "Shine 2.0" by zainadeel !
That's true it's not cool to change someone else work, but I am not gonna publish this changed theme or something, it's just for my own use, anyways I may ask him in Deviantart.

Thank you

I would like to change it for you but if I do and even if I do it privately through PM it is still redistributing it so I cannot do that.
The only other choice you have is to purchase (About $23 US) Ave's Windows7 Style Builder and do yourself if the theme maker will not do it for you. If you do that I can tell you how to change it.
