How do I disable the snowy Aero corners

Hey guys,
I was lurking around here and already found solutions to some of my "problems". I want to have the top of the windows simply black. It's almost done, I'm just missing those corners. They just stay snowy.
My questions is, how I can disable this within the registry, I am not a friend of little programs, I don't trust anything.
If I'm not clear I have a screen shot attached.

I hope there is somebody who can help me. :)

Thank you! I have troubles to find the right option, do you remember what it was? I don't want to mess up with all the colors.

There is no problem with messing with the colors, you can just change it back. Uncheck the box for transparancy and move all the color sliders to darker and 'black' colors.

It is this, click "show color mixer":


So it isn't 'advanced' after all, just so you are aware.

If you are using the default aero theme I can change that for you. Using Windows Style Builder.
If you are using a custom theme you will need to ask the theme maker. It's not cool to change someone else work.

This will be making a custom theme so you will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.

All I need from you would be a name to call the custom theme and I can post it here for you. Let me know if you would like me to do it.

Wow, you got it away, that's awesome! Is it possible to edit the value in the registry or to patch another file? I really dislike anything what could be possibly a threat to my system and I don't trust anybody on the interweb.
And I'm on my very own! I do not use a custom theme, I achieved everything by searching and trying but I just couldn't figure that one out.

Edit: You could look at this and see if Adjusting that aero stripe will remove what you're after I'm not sure if it will work Customize Windows 7 Aero Blur Colors, Color Balances, Blur Balance & Aero Strips | door2windows

I guess I'll go with the theme, the program didn't work for me.

Style builder can do it from what I've read here and elsewhere. Otherwise I've found info stating that you can modify the theme using a Resource Hacker & a Hex Editor.

I will test this tommorow for my own pleasure and if it's successful I can link to the instructions I followed if you wish to go down that path.

That would be great also. Would be even better. :)
