CPU Clock Gadget preventing Win7 from turning off by itself

    Hello.

I am sorry if this is a topic in wrong section of this forum.

I installed Win7 in September 2011 and this problem started to occur last month. I can't exactly reproduce when it happens, but if I have my PC turned on for a while or if I start some game, when I want to turn off Windows 7 it suddenly asks me to force the shutdown and says there is still one process running - CPU clock gadget, raw gadget from Win7. The PC will turn off then - but it's so annoying to force it every time.

I had no problems with gadgets before and I can't think of what new I installed, because I really don't remember I installed anything new at all. It just started to happen randomly.

Is there any way how to "remove something from registry" or something like that which will repair this or do I need to download "autoforcing programs" to prevent this issue?

    Edit//

Just to add - if I turn on PC and for example just browse the internet with Chrome for hours, I can still turn off PC normally. It happens only when I start something like a computer game, or Steam, or similar...

It's been over a month now and still no response. It's driving me crazy because every CPU and RAM scanning gadget prevents Windows 7 from shutting down itself.

There is nearly 500 views on this thread and not a single response? Any of you W7 geeks got no clue? It's driving me crazy. -_-
