Windows 7: Notification Area Icons Settings are not remembered

Notification Area Icons Settings are not remembered

I have my taskbar configured to always show a few programs, like controlMK, speedfan, steam, and MSN..

However, sometimes it forgets these settings, and a few of the programs (control MK and speedfan) vanish from there and are hidden.

In the case of speedfan, it simply hides it and I have to chance it back to "always show", but with controlMK, it simply vanishes, and I can't use it unless I kill the process in the task manager.

Any ideas? :\
