Problem with looping .mpg files as Dreamscene wallpaper
I recently found out that .mpg files consume a lot less CPU usage than using .wmv as Dreamscene wallpaper. However, I noticed that .mpg files don't loop quite as smoothly as .wmv. There is a split-second pause just before it loops. It's not that noticeable when you don't pay attention but when you see it, you cannot unsee.
I'd like to know if this is a problem with the video format or if it is an issue with Dreamscene itself. Is this some sort of bug? If so, is there a workaround to this?
I'm on Windows 7 32-bit and I used the installer provided in step 2 in the link: How to enable Dreamscene or Video Wallpaper in Windows 7 | Windows 7 Center
