Windows 7: changing the taskbar thumbnails reaction time

changing the taskbar thumbnails reaction time

i saw its possible in some program but i don't remember what.
i want to lower the time it takes to thumbnails to show up when i hover a taskbar icon.
i know for sure it's possible. can anybody direct me to the registery value to change?

doesn't seem to change that much :\
what is the default? i changed it to 100 MS and it seems like it take a second.
did everything right according to manual.

I'm sorry, I got this all wrong.

Maybe I'll get it right this time:

Mouse Hover Time - Change

Open regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse, then change MouseHoverTime to whatever you desire. You'll probably need to log off and back on for it to take effect.

Edit: Oh, and the other value you changed is the desktop preview when you hover the little box on the far right of your taskbar. You may want to change that back.
