Font is bold inside most app windows!? HEELP :/

Hi there. Today I decided to get a new theme for my web browser (Firefox) so I did. I found one that I liked and downloaded it and installed it. At the same time I was cleaning games and apps I was not using. As I was browsing trough the list of apps i noticed that the pop up box of Skype (when someone signs in) has bold font. I clicked and opened Skype to discover that the font there is bold as well. Then I saw it on Facebook actually every web page has a bold font now.. Some other apps i use (Hamachi, Antispy, etc..) show up the same way. I googled this issue but all the solutions did not help me so far.

I want to say again that my dialog boxes, system windows and desktop icons are fine like they were. This appears in app windows. here are a few snaps

Tried that. The problem was that I'm not sure if the restore point was before the problem occurred. It was made when i uninstalled iTunes and i don't have any other RP available. So that does not work for me.

did you try and see if it goes away by removing the theme you installed for firefox?

See if Step 3 in Option 3 works for you.

Um no guy. I tried all the registry files none of them work.
As for Koolkat's question, yes i tried and right now the theme is not installed and I'm still in bold. There is somthing else. I noticed that I can't choose Tahoma or Times New Roman in Skype for the chat windows. Then I went in the "Fonts" folder and I didn't find a file named that way. I downloaded Tahoma, and when i tried to install it it said that it is already installed.. I replaced it anyway and the fonts still don't show up..
I was thinking if someone can archive their fonts folder to send it over.

you may try User Account - Create just to see if the fonts are bold or normal in that user.

Nope tried both guest (before u suggest) and i just tried to create a new account same thing there. Now the Tahoma font appears in the Fonts folder but i still can't find it when I decide to change my Skype font for instance. Times New Roman is still missing in the default Fonts folder tough. This is getting really frustrating.
I still think i should reinstall all default fonts somehow.

Try this:

Start> Control panel (if in category view, switch to large or small icon view)> Fonts> Font settings on left list> Restore default font settings

Another possibility is that ClearType is turned off. (for an LCD) Or turned on for a CRT.
