    Ctrl Alt Del screen (customize)

    Hi All

Not sure if i am in the right area to ask this but wanted to see if the below is possible:

We are working in a large business that has the good old 'Ctrl Alt Del' option enabled (like most) - so for anyone to log into the computer (whatever OS) it prompts for a username/password

I wanted to see if we can add a link onto the screen (dialog box) -

Basically if a user has forgotten their password - instead of calling the Helpdesk of that company - they could click this link and it would take you to a internal page (that the company has setup to reset/go through the steps of resetting their password)

I know you can pay for products like this but i wanted to see if we can manually change/customise this?

Anyhelp on this would be great

You can sacrifice Ease of Access button by substituting Utilman.exe with desired executable file.
User will click on Ease of Access and get your executable instead. Problems associated with that: exe will be started elevated (as admin or internal system account); if Microsoft will issue some patch or update, your file might disappear.

But why do not you create some Guest user with extremely restricted policies just for changing your password or doing what needs to be done?
