    Thanx Sk0t0s! I appreciate it.

Edit: Does anyone here know how to make something look like it half underwater, ie: Like a boat from the side, where you can see the waterline and under it you see the bottom and above the rest of the boat, or like an iceberg, but what I want to do is take a certain imige and make it look like its standing in the water, with about a 1/4 sticking out,so the top half has water sort of dripping down, and has that "its been wet, glossy" look, while the bottom is underwater with the blurry/wetty/watery look...hope this makes sence.

    you mean something like this?

    Attachment 214946

    Attachment 214947

I made this as fast as I can... so it's not that smooth...

If you want to achieve the effect something like that... just mess around with > Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple, Ripple and Wave...

Joey is a GIMP user so I don't know if that filter is available in GIMP. If what sk0t0s suggested isn't available, I found a tutorial:

    http://www.zetaprints.com/help/text-dipped-in-water/

I have't a clue what software that tutorial uses, so it may need some adapting. The final product isn't that great either, but I'm sure you can tweak it to your needs :) It's more the concept I wanted to show you.

Sk0t0s, thanx that is close to what I want, I will try it.

Tom982- I ocasionally still use gimp, but went back to correl paint(I understand it better) but lately my sigs with the new text, the cracks and so on was made wit CS5.

Mainly I I want a pic of say and ocean with sand bottom, and skies top, then addmthe usable pic in the middle and make it look like it was taken as a photo. When I get to my pc, I will upload a paint pic of what I ment
