Windows 7: Although i am the Admin , Can't change my wallpaper !!

Hi All ,

As i was asking before how can i Bypass admins control and change my permissions

i already asked my IT Admin for that and i am now the Administrator , i can install\uninstall applications, update windows and using the laptop normally but still can't change my wallpaper!!



to change it i go to path C:\Windows\Resources and replace the old wallpaper with my new one after renaming it to Wallpaper1 and i have to restart explorer or reboot to apply changes but after while it back again to my company wallpaper which is strange

i guess that Group Policy is refreshed automatically causing wallpaper change

checked with IT and they don't know where is the problem is ?!

We cannot actually help you. It would be against forum rules.

Done it with some registry tweaks and also prevented GPUPDATE From changing it back to default wallpaper.. Thanks all any way
