    The laptop icon?

OK, so you know how in Vista, you can change the icon of Computer to look like a laptop instead of a desktop?

What happened to that icon in Windows 7? I went to the "customize icons" page, and it's not there! Boo! I've got a laptop, and I want the laptop icon!

Any chance someone can upload it?

i've just spent a few minutes looking through the usual suspect dll's to find a laptop icon, but i couldn't find any either. where have they hidden it?

and why is moricons.dll still there? that's a windows 3 file!

i also use this attached icon for my laptop, because it does look a lot like my laptop. it may be unsuitable for yours, but here it is anyway...i had to zip it up as the forum didn't like me uploading a .ico file.

What dll was it in? I just looked in imageres.dll

Do you have a screenshot of the icon? I have program that scans every EXE and DLL on your computer and displays the icons. Maybe I can track it down. I did look in imageres.dll and I see an icon on row 2, column 6 when you customize the icon of a folder using the built in function. Is that the one you are talking about?

Just did a scan of the System32 folder. I see a laptop icon in this file:

DDORES.DLL (2068) - This is the Device Category DLL so there are a lot of device Icons in it.

I don't know which one it was... I just know that in Vista, if you go to "change desktop icons", it has a laptop icon next to the desktop one.

I went to the change desktop icons and click on the Computer one and clicked on Change Icon, It brings up imageres.dll. The only thing to the sides of the computer icon that is selected is a red shield on the left and a folder on the right.
