    Explorer & Taskbar Vista-style?

    Hey,

i just installed Windows 7 prof on my 2nd computer and i dont like the new taskbar and the explorer menue very much. i would like to have it like it was in Vista. here my screens:

So it would be cool if i can get my taskbar with the icons AND the opened programms (here "Computer", Firefox) and not that the icons will transform if u klick on it.

And the explorer menue should look as much as possible like the one on the screenshot.

I hope u can help me and perhaps u can post ur screens if u have customize it like i want to ;-)

Hello Mowh, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You can change the taskbar to have buttons instead of icon.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...ons-icons.html

These two tutorials can help with how the folder tree looks in the Navigation Pane.

Navigation Pane - Automatically expand to current folder

    and

Navigation Pane - Show All Folders

If you wanted Quick Launch back to, then this will show you how to.

Quick Launch - Enable or Disable

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    You're welcome Mowh.

You can't get rid of Favorites, but you can click on the dark triangle on the right to collapse it to minimize it to one line.
