Calendar Gadget: download or copy from other PC?
I've built an ISO of Windows Starter using RT Seven Lite, and stupidly I deleted the Calendar Gadget from the build. Is there a way to download this, or copy it from another PC?

Hello Nigel,
Since the Calendar is a default gadget that came with Windows 7, you might see if you may be able to use the tutorial below to restore it.
Gadgets - Restore Default Gadgets
Hope this helps,
Shawn
Ok, here it is in the ZIP files below. You would just need to download and save the ZIP files below to your desktop. Open a ZIP file below, drag the Calendar.Gadget folder from the ZIP to your desktop, then move it into the folder below for the download. Do this one at a time, and afterwards, see if you may be able to do the above again to restore it.
C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets
Ah, ok. I was going by your 64-bit specs.
For a 32-bit Windows 7, use the download for the Program Files (x86), but do the underlined part into your Program Files folder instead since it will be for 32-bit in a 32-bit Windows 7.
I think I'm going to remove my "specs" from the forum, this is the second time in as many days they have caused confusion. They are for my main PC, I have many, many others ...
Unfortunately I still not clear what you mean in the underlined text...
[Later] Just read it again, you mean drop the folder into Program Files (x86). It was the "folder below" that confused me, I thought you meant in the folder structure from where I had first saved it.
Anyway, many thanks for this, it worked. I hadn't realised that Windows 7 still had the Windows Sidebar folder, and being hidden I didn't think to look there.
Note to self: add the context menu hidden files toggle to all my PCs!
