    How do I make programs open directly on the icon in the taskbar?


    Good day every1,
    I have given up several replaceable programs because of this problem...

    as already stated in the title:
    I want my programs to open ON the icon in the taskbar... for some programs it works, for others strangely it doesn't...

    Meaning I click on the icon, and instead of opening itself where the icon is located it opens a new window right next to it....

    as you can see sony vegas opened normally ON the icon of it, but Pale Moon opened next to it, this is VERY annoying-.-

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
    Try this, after it opens the one next to it right click on it and pin it to the taskbar then unpin the 1st one.

how do I get a file to open directly to desktop not taskbar? I suppose opening all files in the task bar is someone's ideas of organization but I get really annoyed at having to chase all over with my clicker trying to open a file shortcut. It is not pinned to the taskbar.

Is it possible to have the Drive icon DIRECTLY on the taskbar instead of pinned to the Explorer icon? I am actually having trouble filling my taskbar and I would like to be able to use all three drive icons. I would also like to be able to put folders directly on the taskbar, too.
I saw if some folks screen shots, that there must be a way to cause the open programs on the task bar to display wide.. Referring to sergio's theme, and a few others.. I have dug into the taskbar options, but not struck gold, anyone know how this can be done?
