Openbox-Like Scrolling in W7?
Hello,
I've been a Linux user since 2008. I have both gentoo and now Windows 7 installed. The latter installed much later. So far, it's been alright, I moved away from windows originally for more freedom (my dad had parental controls AND I really like to customise everything to my liking, that includes the kernel and software). Anyway, because I've been using Linux for so long, I'm very much used to the way Openbox handles scrolling. In openbox, as long as the window was focused, I could mouse over the area I wanted to scroll and move the wheel, in W7 I've noticed that I have to click on that area and then scroll. In openbox, say I have a file-browser opened, there's a navigator that shows a directory tree and then to the right of that is the main window showing the contents of the directory I'm in, I want to scroll down in the navigator to see more directories, I mouse over, then scroll. I've found what I'm looking for and click on the folder, the file I want to open starts with 'z' so I mouse over the main area on the window and scroll down. It's very annoying having to click on the affected area every time I want to scroll. Is there a way to configure this behaviour?
Thanks,
Dragos
