How can I get this image to work as a startorb?

Hey everyone! I downloaded this start orb image from a site and I have been trying for days to get it to work. When I try to apply it using Windows 7 Start Orb App it keeps telling me the orb is invalid. I am guessing the person that made it as a startorb image done it wrong?
So if anyone can make this image as a working start orb for me, I will be forever grateful! Please let me know
A tutorial will not help me in this situation as I have tried redoing this myself and failed lol
All I need is for someone to redo this image for me into a startorb!

Are you running Aero or Aero Basic? If not, your replacement orb won't look right.

I have Windows 7 Premium with Aero.
I have tried all those steps and the darn image still wont work lol
I downloaded that orb image from a girl that makes tons of start orbs for people to use so I don't know why it keeps telling me its an invalid orb. The start orb program itself is telling me it cant apply the image as an orb due to it being invalid. So.. I just need someone to save it correctly as an orb image? I hope that makes sense lol

    Try using a different orb.

You might also try a different application to do the changing.

Hello onlypatty you are right that the image is invalid as I converted your downloaded file to proper the proper BMP extension and tested but the image requires further processing.

However all is not lost if you could re post the original image saved on your computer in the Custom Start Menu Button Collection thread one of our talented members will likely make you one that works.

@ kegobeer if the OP still wants to use the desired image my solution of having a member that creates start orbs remake a proper orb should work nicely.
