    Can i add icons to the start menu?


    Hi, i have moved from xp to windows 7, but i like the start menu with icons where documents, pictures, music is, like this:
    Can i add icons to the start menu?-picture1.png
    could i put icons on the windows 7 start menu?

    Not that I know of.
    An alternative may be to try Classic Shell which can give you the XP look in the start menu it was developed by a member here ANN: Classic Shell - start menu and other features

Had a SDD crash and now my malwarebytes icon is missing. Tried changing the icon but its still missing. I even reinstalled the program after uninstalling it and nothing. Tried a system restore and I still cant get the icon. Any tips or tricks that might work?

This is not a big problem but is quite annoying, sometimes randomly the icons for my start menu programs will dissapear and the icon will change to the default one when there is no icon to be found. Just random programs do this and if I go to properties it still says the icon is the old one but...
