Sorry, but that would not be a correct understanding of how SFC works. SFC runs an integrity check on Windows system files to see if they are corrupted or have been modified. If so, it will attempt to replace them with a default copy in the hidden protected OS CAB files included in the installation.
It sounds like you Start Menu's "Pin to" area has been disabled. You might see if using the tutorial below to enable it may help.
