It shouldn't be a problem. I assume you don't just want to auto hide it?

i had it to auto hide but everytime i would close a tab it would bring it back up. but then i found the program i linked but i didnt want to try it i wasnt sure if it was ok but im going to try it out. it also says that To have it run on every start-up, place its shortcut in the folder located at C:\Users\User-name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. if i do that would it make the computer slower? and will be able to go in those folders and delet it? thanks for the help

You can just go to Start> All programs> Startup

Right click and choose Open, it will open the startup folder. It likely will have little effect on startup times, and could easily be removed by repeating the procedure and deleting the shortcut. A Guy

Your theme is most likely deciding how the taskbar displays. If you have already enabled transparency, and moved the slider. have a look at this tutorial, and see how that works.

Vista Transbar by ~ViXPta on deviantART it worked but it also makes the wifi and battery signals transparent.

One poster says full transparent taskbar is not possible, but I have seen completely transparent taskbars.
