The image that is at the bottom of the log in screen. Does anyone know where these images are located? I changed the images that were found in C:\windows\branding\basebrd\basebrd.dll and now it shows both of the logos. Its kind of strange. I changed the image that is at the front of the text and now it shows my picture blended with the windows logo. and same for the text. Any thoughts? Thank you.
As an example only that is exactly what I'm trying to do. I have created my own custom logos to go down there and I'm trying to place them instead.
I too want to find this image but not to change it. Just to copy it. I am making a custom login screen and I have a place I would love to put this. Ya I know this is already on the screen but having it twice wont hurt in this case
The reason why you get your modified image blend with the windows logo is because of Alpha channel. Extract bitmap 120 in basebrd.dll and using photoshop go to channels beside the layers... at the bottom you will see a Alpha1.... fill it with full black and highlight your modified logo or words with white.......:)
