Windows Desktop 'Personalize' Option is Very Buggy

I was trying to switch my static wallpaper to a slideshow one, although when I tried to do it this is what happened:

    • I selected the folder, and chose the pictures.

    • I clicked save changes, then exited the Personalization window.

    • When I noticed my wallpaper wasn't changing, I tried right-clicking the desktop, and choosing next wallpaper.

    • You can see the Desktop Background icon in the bottom right is black, and no slideshow is selected. This icon is always black, whether I have selected a slideshow or not. It still displays the proper background, just the icon is a little buggy.

Whenever I try other slideshows, they work. I tried customizing them to my own photos, but then the Desktop Background icon just went black again.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? Do they know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Never mind, fixed it by deleting everything in my Themes folder.

    For anyone wondering, do this:
    CTRL + R
Type in %appdata% and hit enter
    Microsoft/Windows/Themes
Delete everything in there and you're done.
