    O okay,
I cannot think of any program that would do that except for Rocket Dock.
There are skins for it that make it look like the xp tool bar.
If you turn off the zoom function and set it to low quality it really doesnt take up that much ram or processor cycles.
It can bet set to minimize programs to the dock instead of the toolbar like what Ubuntu does.

Just tested and it works pretty good, I found the Zune look was the most appealing, thank you for sharing.

From the website. The first sentence on the first page.

ZBar is a utility for those who use multiple monitors. If you have a single screen, then there's nothing to see here. Move on.

Sometimes, there is less to the picture than meets the eye.

    Edit:
So it looks like I can't manage to open it. I double-clicked it and nothing happened, I tried running it as administrator and it still didn't open, I tried it with WinXP SP 2 and 3, still nothing.

Did you guys have this kind of problems? If so, how did you fix it? I didn't find anything at the Zbar forums either.
I am completely lost on what you are evn trying to do.

    Please clarify -

    One monitor with two taskbars
    OR
Two monitors with one taskbar each

If one monitor with two taskbars...

Have you tried downloading it again?

Another alternative is DisplayFusion 3.1 Released! | Binary Fortress Software

Free but also with a paid for pro version (one time fee, lifetime upgrades, and the developer is constantly updating it).

Yes, My mistake Antman, It works like charm

I was just stupid enough not to notice that it opened god I can't remember the name, but still the area next to clock, right corner, I hate when this happens but anyway, My mistake.

By the way, that was fast.

    Edit:

Yup, apparently it doesn't work with 1 monitor, stupid me. (Mr GRiM, do you have dual monitors?)

I'm going to give a try for DislpayFusion 3.1 free version.

    Edit2:

Well I can't seem to get it working either. I just noticed that it doesn't say a word about single-monitor-support.

I tried registering it with the trial-thing, it registered it but I still didn't find anything related to it.

    I have it figured out!
Preview: Dual Taskbar Desktop by ~zkiuruse on deviantART

    No outside programs needed.

Firstly, for the bar to hold the shortcuts, download this gadget for Windows 7. It gives you a gadget sidebar. 7 Sidebar Gadget - Vista-Sidebar for Windows 7

Next, to get apps, folders, etc. as gadgets, I use iLauncher7 1.0 by Franchu: franchu's deviantART gallery

And there you have it. Setting up the gadget is simple enough, just double click the icon in the gadget gallery to create more gadgets for apps, shortcuts, etc.

    Hope it helps!
