Hi RonanZer0 and welcome to Seven Forums.

Give Classic Shell a try. I is very configurable and has an XP skin. Welcome to Classic Shell

I think he is talking about the start button, not the start menu. The problem is that the XP button is wider than Windows 7. Tools like Start Orbz can only change the image on the button but not the size.

Classic Shell allows you to create a button of any size, but that's only for Windows 8. I am hoping to release a new version soon, which will support that feature for Windows 7 as well (sorry, no Vista).

Classic Shell 3.5.1 was released today. You can use it to completely replace the Start button in Windows 7. It supports any shape or size. If you do not like the classic start menu you can change the settings to open the Windows 7 menu and just use the Start button replacement.

Thanks Ivo. I upgraded last night on both 7 and 8. It works well.

I use Kishan's Windows Seven Start Button Changer v2.6 myself. I know he has a newer tool , which you might want to check out as well. There are start "orbs" which are rectangular, and have START text as well, such as this example.
