Can we modify or add a custom columns on Explorer?

Can we modify or add a custom columns on Explorer?

i just installed dBpoweramp and i can see a complete metadata info about the audio files via popup info & Audio Properties tab (created by dBpoweramp), i consider some of them are advanced info like encoder settings, accuraterip results, CD catalog, etc. can we add a custom columns on Explorer for these info?

and tried to add an extra columns like 'compression ratio', 'encoded by' & 'bit depth' on Explorer but it shows nothing. I can see via dBpoweramp for some audio files, but not on Explorer, it just blank. can i fix this?
    Thanks in advance :)

Apa kabar clifflip! When I had a WinXP I used Auirionix to do that, however, I am not sure whether program is still updated/exists.

Under Win7 just right-click on the Name pane (when in Details view) and click More you can then select from 200+ fields of information to be shown:

Goddag exoTron! Jeg har det fint, tak :)

I can't find any info related to 'Auirionix' on Google, it's not misspelled right?

I've searched a specific columns i want to add on 'Choose Details' window, it's not existed (a 'CD catalog' column, for an example) or existed but not displaying anything (just blank, like 'bit depth' column).
it seems that the bit depth column only shows info on image files, not on audio or video files, so maybe Explorer cannot detect all metadata from a specific files. i don't know, but bit depth info should exists on audio & video files, right? so it's a little confusing when the 'bit depth' column only shows info for an image files.

it's not very important though, i thought i'd be cool if i can display a complete info about the audio files on Explorer, that's all.

    tak for dit svar, exoTron!

    Selv tak

so maybe Explorer cannot detect all metadata from a specific files.
Note that some metadata will only be associated and viewable in the respective media player. So that you might be right that Windows by default, cannot display all metadata of a particular media track. The track file itself might not contain this information.

To give you an example, in iTunes, track data such as star-rating and play-count is strictly iTunes library data and does not pertain to the media track files themselves. This data is written in the iTunes library.itl file.

I can't find any info related to 'Auirionix' on Google, it's not misspelled right?
Not sure about the name now, I also looked up without results, might be that the producers long disappeared. It was more than 5 years ago (!)

Try maybe Xplorer2 (2 is in superscript). This is a paid program however.

    Good luck!
