I personally see a use for a Dock. all of my frequent programs are pinned to the taskbar, which is there to rule out a need for a dock, and all the less used are in the start menu for when needed.
Only text documents end up on my desktop.

Every one is different i get that, but for me i use a doc not for essayer access to my programs. (i still have my start button pinned to my dock after all)
I use it for the animation and customization side of things basically it looks good lol

Anyone have an interesting desktop?

Just curious. I've used this one for many years.

It graduated to Windows 7 lately.

You've seen mine - now can I see yours?

That would be the main case running the 64bit Ultimate with a dual display set up.

Each display on the extended desktop has it's own wallpaper and almost separate theme while keeping it more neutral colorwise.
