ah well, to each his own, i figured they may be handier as you can have them appear on hover over making the desktop less cluttered and busy. obviously some you need in your face can be configured differently.
and the alarm feature is a beauty, having said that one can use a calendar for date/ to do reminders

Lady Fitzgerald I come to the conclusion you should put a small spiral bound notepad on a chain around your neck for notes.

Hmm, I should do that as well so I don't forget to, uhmm...

Weeellll... I do keep a notepad in my purse, in the nightstand by my bed, and in my truck. I have a supply of post-it-notes in my desk so I can leave notes around the house where they will be in my face. I also buy 3x5 cards in bulk for shopping and to-do lists. I have Word docs on my desktop preformatted for 3x5 cards for my regular store stops. A plus in front of the file name means I have something on the list. I glance at my desktop whenever I leave the house to see if there are any stops I need to make and print up whatever cards I need.

    Life with ADHD is...ah...interesting.

This is a stunning wallpaper for bona fide cat lovers such as myself. I got those nifty desktop icons from a nifty icon site. For a cleaner look, I removed the icon name tags (with a little SevenForums help!).

Thanks A Guy! Now I'm really clean. Even my cat is impressed, and she doesn't impress easily.
