    Looking for help on using a video wallpaper

    Apologies for the long read, my problem is thus;

    I have dual screens, unfortunately not the same size, and I use "display fusion pro" to create wallpapers for my monitors; I can choose two different images, and it creates one large image that serves as a desktop, (although it looks like there are two images.) See here; https://i.imgur.com/QqRt3.jpg On my computer, it appears like this; https://i.imgur.com/Uvhl4.jpg (Without the black bar above the first screen, as it is a widescreen, and my 2nd screen is more squareish.)

    So; I thought to myself, if I keep the same sizes/aspect ratios of that image, I could superimpose a video on top of the left most image, and create a correctly sized desktop wallpaper from the display fusion pro picture. I created this; Video - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

    Annoyingly, Windows 7 does not have a video wallpaper feature, but fortunately I have DreamScene, which allows me to set videos as backgrounds. However, although the video plays perfectly smoothly, my desktop looks like this; https://i.imgur.com/3FhaO.jpg

    If there is anyone who knows if what I'm trying to do is even possible, and if so what I am doing wrong, I would really appreciate it.

    EDIT: I have found part of my problem, is appears Sony Vegas is not letting me render to 2646 pixels, only 2048, and I am not sure how to fix that yet.

    cant offer you any help with the video ,but in my opinion you ought to use stardocks fences and hide all your desktop shortcuts, double clicking the desktop makes them appear and disappear, its a neat bit of kit if you have a nice desktop
