Hi all I have only just seen this thread.I use a free program called Folderico and it works with Windows 7 64 bit. Hope this may help

DamselFL > Thank you for posting that link to "Types", it works perfectly for me! I just reinstalled Windows 7 Pro x64 and WinAmp v2.8, and for the life of me I couldn't get M3U files to associate with the correct icon. Now it works fine!
