Show Desktop Button - Too Big

Hey guys, I'm new here, and I registered because I wanted to ask;
Is it possible to make the "Show Desktop" button smaller?
The problem is, when I re-installed windows on my laptop, that button is bigger than usual >.< , and It just looks ugly.

Here's an image, the top picture is my current taskbar, and the bottom one is how it used to be:
EDIT: I've found a fix:

Thank you very much for your reply, and for welcoming me, I already like it here
Unfortunetly, I haven't solved my problem, I've disabled the " Tablet PC Input Service" and restarted my laptop, but the show desktop button didn't change back to normal

Oh, and I do have SilverCrest tablet installed, I don't feel like uninstalling it though ^^;

Does anyone have any other ideas/suggestions?

EDIT: I've found a simple fix:
