    Can't have desktop wallpaper

I had my wallpaper set as one that changes every 3 minutes or so. I set it up Wednesday, but yesterday when I put my 2nd monitor on to watch a movie, the wallpaper disappeared and went blank. I thought it did this just because it wouldn't work with 2 monitors enabled, but when I turned the 2nd monitor off in Nvidia control panel, the wallpaper flashed back on for a second and now it stays black. I restarted but it still stays black. Even if I try changing wallpaper in Personalize it doesn't change.

I managed to fix it. I followed the instructions on here: Web tab missing in the Customize Desktop dialog then when I restarted my wallpaper was back to normal.

No problem, I know how frustrating it is for other people when trying to Google a solution and they find a dead end. Happened to me enough times

No need for a Registry changes.

I had the same problem and what had happened a box was checked in the ease of access saying "Remove background images (where availible)" it is a quick fix

Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Ease of Access -> Ease of Access Center

Once the dialoge box opens click "Make the computer easier to see" Scroll down and uncheck the box by "Remove background images (where availible)" Hit "Apply" then "Ok" and then on your keyboard hit "Alt + F4" you may have to log out and log back in before it takes affect
