    Background Problems

    Hey guys,

I was looking around here for help but and I saw other people had similar problems with error messages but mine is a little different. Just like the other people I keep getting the "image cannot be set as wallpaper an internal error has occurred" message.

The difference is that I can change my background but only if I right click and select as background on the image from an internet browser. If I try to save the image and then select it as background either by right clicking or through the settings the error pops up.

I've tried solutions that i've seen for other people but they either didn't apply to me or didn't work.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Seven Forums jogro. Have you tried deleting the TranscodedWallpaper.jpg?

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\TranscodedWallpaper.jpg

Start> In search box copy and paste

    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

    Enter

Right click the TranscodedWallpaper.jpg and rename it to TranscodedWallpaper.old

Accept the change, and see if you can now set images from your hard drive.
