I see no Beta designation? Just 64 bit Version 3.8.6 21 Aug 2010

there are two downloads. it says 385 does not work well on win 7 64 bit
uninstall and them install setup iconoid x64.exe aug 2010
i went to install and talked about beta and some troubles

Ahhh, apologies. I just tried to install it to see:

desktop icons-iconoid.jpg

desktop icons-iconoid2.jpg

I'd think generally you'd be fine. It is very unlikely to bork your system, but possibly have some bugs in how the program itself works, if any.

Sorry, no I have never used it myself. Their help page has an interactive screenshot. Run your cursor over the various buttons for options and explanations.

Sorry, having problems following your posts. "hotkey conflicts ?????" Huh?

Fences also has the feature, amongst many others.
