    It is a requirement for that program, yes. Whether that will make it work for you I can't say. But having it will not cause any issues either way. You may already have it.

    Supporting Files (If Needed)

    If you get an error when you try to run this application, you probably need to have the Microsoft C++ runtime installed, which you can get get from the following link:

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

    hey Slartybart i tried that shake thing and all it did was minimize the other open folder, did nothing to desktop clutter.

    No, just install. If you already have it, no harm. If it doesn't help, no harm. Did you try to right click the exe and choose run as admin? (You shouldn't need to). Is your user an Admin?

    I use Auto Hide Desktop Icons (And Taskbar) myself. But is click to show icons, then they hide themselves based on the time you set (3 seconds minimum). It may not serve your purpose.

    i dont know if user is admin. dont know how to tell. things like that i dont know.
    well im a happy camper. :) :)
    i did the updates anyway and restarted my computer and there it was YAYYYYYYYYYYY
    i have a white sand dollar icon on right side of arrow by clock in taskbar.
    one click hides one click shows.
    simply transparent is BACK!!!!!!!!!!
