How can I change the default desktop search on Win 7

I would like to change my Win 7 ULT box so that when I enter text into the "Search programs and files" box, the system will use my favorite 3rd party search app. I use UltraSearch. Is that possible?

I've read most of the posts about removing the search text box. That's not what I want to do. I like having the search box right there after I click on the 'Start/Globe'. I just want to use a different search engine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

I do not believe this would ever be possible. Your best bet would be to pin UltraSearch to the start menu. One more click, but as close as you can get. A Guy

Thanks A Guy.

I couldn't find any way to do it but hoped that some one a lot smarter than me knew some way. Thanks again.
