    Automatically open a created folder

So one cool thing I liked about vista was that it switched (aka opened) the folder you just created. I know for some this was probably annoying depending on what you were doing but it fit my usage scenarios perfectly.
I am hoping it is nothing more than a registry setting but I haven’t been able to track it down, then again I don’t even know where to look.

    Are you sure?

When you type the folder name, hit enter, enter.

Thanks for the reply, I am currently doing that as a work around on my 7 machine but I am curious about a permanent fix.

Perhaps you had an add-on of some kind.

I should have clarified, when you have the save as window open and create a new folder in Vista it will automatically open it as it assumes you want to save the file in the folder you created. You can test this easily in IE by downloading something.

In 7 it doesn't do that, it acts like it does in windows explorer where it simply creates the folder you want and leaves it at that. Exactly the same way XP worked.

It doesn't seem to be an IE thing, as far as I can tell, as I have IE8 on both.
