I ended up in choosing an entirely different font, as changing the DPI didn't seem to work, but I like this one better anyway.

If you have a look at this image and zoom in a bit you will be able to see the difference that a high quality image has over a lower quality version. Just make sure you don't over do the bevel height and width amount as it can often look over distorted, always try and work as high quality as possible with out going overboard anything between 600 and 1200 dpi should be fine just be careful at what dimension size you are working in as it is all relative to the final output file size in Mb etc
The second image shows what happens when you convert the exact same size image to 300/600/1200 dpi respectively. These blocks were only 35x35 pixels which shows quite bad jaggies when converting low res images but doesn't become so apparent when the image has a larger dimension.
Thanks for the info!
But when I change an image to a higher DPI the width and height get smaller, but the image size doesn't change, what does that mean? The quality of the text gets higher, but the overall quality gets lower since that part was made on a lower DPI, right?

Nommy
Sounds like your just adjusting the dpi of the selected layer and not the overall image. It's best to begin at a higher dpi from the start

Thanks Nick. I'm using RGB. I think the reference image I used may have been a bit muddy.

I like it Keith, what do you think as the artist? IT does have more "pop" to it.
