    Images that appear on Folder

    Hello, everyone -

does anyone know how to change the image displayed on a Folder.

Below my "Desktop" Folder has a picture of Beyonce. I have no clue how it got there, LOL.

When I open the Folder nothings there.

Anyhow how do I clear/delete those images.

    Let me know, Thanks!

    That's classic :')

Right click on the folder > Properties > Customize folder then change the icon to something else, apply and okay. Check that the icon is changed. Then change it back to the picture of a folder icon and apply etc. Do a refresh and that should get rid of it

    Best regards,

    Opps, I forgot it's a library folder.

Have you tried in Folder options (Control Panel > Appearence > Folder Options) select the "View" Tab and "Reset Folders"

in addition do you have a music file that is beyonce on your desktop.
its possible it is an embedded image on a mp3 file that is displaying in the folder.

Try Icon Cache - Rebuild followed by the Thumbnail Cache - Clear and Reset again.
    If that does not work:
Then try Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You my need to do this up to 3 times with a reboot after each scan. Then do the above 2 tutorials again if needed.
