Welcome Stephanie to our great forum.
That is a beautiful sig he made for you.

Nick (PoomanUK) does his best work in the early hours of the morning.
He has helped many a GFX'er. He even took many hours in teaching me how to draw circles and rectangles but
got upset with me when I colored outside the lines.

Have a great time while you are here and looking forward in seeing some of your work.
THW

Dumb noob question, how do you get the layers objects to show? When I open it it look like the sig.
Hiya sorry I took so long to get back to you .... looks like you figured it out, but in answer to your question in CorelDraw we don't need to work on layers although you can do so if you want to. The layers can come in handy when you have hundreds of objects but using the object manager is most proberly the best way to navigate around a drawing that has so many objects.
I use TAB which alternates between the objects (shift TAB goes backwards through the objects) also naming each object can be helpful. I'm just a bit lazy when it come to this.
The object manager in CorelDRAW is what sets it apart in ease of use in my opinion.
