Dont worry. It is small as your privilege of membership. When you will become a power user, reapply the sig; it will be shown in full size :)

When does one become a power user?

That depends on you :)

lol didn't even see this, but saw you had a new sig. just gave you rep for helping with IE10 update blocker and here you only need 100 points so you are pretty close....
