Try Icon Cache - Rebuild to see if that will correct the problem.

Hello CosmicPoptart,

Since you modified your system files to change the folder icon as per your post here, try what I posted below there to see if running a sfc/ scannow command may help.

I've tried both of your suggestions. They're still broken.
Any other suggestions? I'm willing to try about anything.

You could do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before you had this issue to hopefully fix it.

If that's not an available option, then you could do a repair install.
