    The annoying "change icon" window

    Hello everyone,

I'm pretty sure everyone in here knows that annoying tiny window that allows you to pick an icon of your choice - you know, the one that pretty much looks like this one since God created the universe:

Since Microsoft isn't capable to make that stupid window resizable - and yes, that includes Windows 8 and most probably any other Windows in our lifetime - is there any way to change the dimensions of that Window via the Registry? Or is there a software that replaces the "change icon" window completely?

Looks like this is a dialog resource 1060 from shell32.dll. Maybe resizing it with a resource editor will work.
You may have to change both the main dll and the shell32.dll.mui file for your language (for example the one in en-US folder). Also on 64-bit systems there are twice as many dlls to change if you want to affect both 32- and 64-bit applications.
