Two taskbar questions

One: I use multiple hard drives. Is it possible to have each drive its own icon instead of them all being lumped into the "explorer" button?

Two: Is there any way to DYNAMICALLY center the taskbar buttons? Third party or not. This includes the open window icons as well.

Thanks ahead of time.

1. if your looking to create a icon to link directly to each seperate drive then yes just right click on either drive and click COPY - then on desktop right click and click copy shortcut and your done =P

2. No as of now there is a few ways dooing it but dynamically no no one has modified windows 7 to do that yet, trust me I'm there with you =P

Thanks,
Kukag

Okay problem:
It still pins it to "Windows Explorer" instead of just ON the taskbar.

Hmm yup that seems to work, I personally would just add the quick launch toolbar then put it in there cause thats what I just did and it works great + it retains the harddrive icon.

Thanks a bunch BFK!

New to W7, questions about taskbar & shortcuts

Anyways, 1st question is on XP i would drag a shortcut to the taskbar and it would then be usable and work as the original shortcut did. With 7 it...

Slimmer Taskbar? Also Auto Hide Questions.
I was wondering if there's a slimmer taskbar than the small-icons version? Also, right now I'm using auto-hide taskbar but Winamp and Steam will cause it to stay up until I close them or open and minimise them. Is there a fix for this?

Taskbar Customization Questions
Can anyone help me remove some of the separators from the right side of my Windows 7 taskbar. There is too much space in one area and I think eliminating the multiple separators will bring the icons closer together.

Win7 taskbar buttons questions
Is there a limit to the number of buttons that you can have on your taskbar? Why can't I add MS Outlook 2007 button? I am running Win7 64-bit on a new hp p6240f w/8GB Memory and an Intel Q8300 quad-core chip. I have no problem adding buttons for other MS Office 2007 apps: Word, Excel,...
