How do i change my icons to default

    Hey friends,
Two days back I downloaded two theme packs for my Windows 7 ultimate x64, one is Android jelly bean theme pack and other one is Windows 8 transformation pack. First I installed Android jelly bean theme pack, without uninstalling it I installed Windows 8 transformation pack. I got bored of those theme packs and i uninstalled Windows 8 theme pack, it asked for reboot and i gave for reboot.

Then i uninstalled Android jelly bean theme pack and again it ask for reboot, i gave. But after reboot almost every icon expect Notepad, paint etc were unchanged. I tried system restore, TuneUp's Clean registry , Fix Common problems, Icons cache check and even tried CHKDSK. But no use.

And friends, have a look few pictures, Some icons have changed and some doesn't. The windows explorer tab in Taskbar is of Android type. Please have a look and help me with this

First using a tuneup clean up program could cause all kinds of problems.
Take a look at this and see if it what you are looking for.

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

Theme packs can do a lot of harm to a system they should be avoided if all possible, themes and icons should be changed manually for best results.

Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You may need to do this up to three times with a reboot after each scan, followed up by Icon Cache - Rebuild

If the above does not work have a look at this cutechinu's deviantART gallery it has been used many times successfully to restore the icons back to normal.

After doing that you should follow up with a Icon Cache - Rebuild
