Try this: Display Color Calibration or your monitor's built in balance contols, it can change over time.

With them both being screen shots, the difference would not be from the monitor it'self but from the final render in the graphics card, it may be that the game is using DirectDraw/Direct3D or OpenGL to render the image while windows is using GDI.

i see vertical stripes with a larger one with square dots on it its very faint,

is it the same with all images or just that one?
