Thanks Sergio, Thanks Zelith. A new text style without gradient
Arc pal. When using a "script style" font like you have, the general thumb rule is not to use all caps. ie. "Archie" looks better than "ARCHIE" in that font style
As an old fashioned printer who learnt his trade using lead type I would endorse this. The use of all caps started when the Windows OS first supported True Type fonts, that was version 3.1. People started typesetting without any knowledge of typesetting rules and we had business cards that used 4 or 5 different fonts with script fonts set in all capsand all manner of examples of poor setting. It eroded the old standard of "Optically correct" setting. Really would look that much better just capitalised. IMHO, of course. All that aside I like the use of white space.
Would I be ultra critical if I pointed out that at the bottom of the image the soft edge of the shadow has been cut off to make a hard edge.
Hi guys
I'm new here.
The forum is great.:)
I'd like a request.
I'd like an AMD logo with Intel style. (So for example to look like intel core 2 duo)
Haha... Yeah, as much as I hate Afrikaans, I do know it and just can't seem to get away from it in this country..
Archie, I'm bored... Can I make you a sig?
Edit: Well, I went looking for some cool pics of Archie, but unfortunately I couldn't really find much that was a decent quality. Anyway, this is what I did with what I found, matching avatar and sig:
I agree..Its so interesting to work on CS. Even thou I have other office work to do, I cant incline myself in learning new things to do in PS. And not to forget, fulfilling some of our members request in here is a great feeling. I wont say it is a work/job.
So you know japanese???
Haha... I wish I did. I only know the basic greetings and phrases from having watched so much anime, I just search Google for the proper spellings and meanings... For example, calling somebody 'baka' is calling tem an idiot, 'moshi moshi' is the way to answer a phone call, 'arigatou' is basically 'thanks' while 'arigatou gozaimasu' is more formal as 'thank you', and adding the affix 'sama' to female names or 'san' to male names is a sign of respect when addressing them.
I picked up most of it from Bleach, Naruto (only enjoyed the earlier seasons), Elfen Lied, Tenjou Tenge, etc etc..
