    You mentioned using Photoshop? Well, if you battling to get small fonts to look clear, there are many different ways to clear them up... Some get quite technical and complex, but one of the simplest and often most effective, is using the font weight settings. If you look in the attached image you'll see what I mean.

    I find for small fonts, if they have lots of straight edges 'Strong' works pretty well, if it's a flowing font with lots of curves, sometimes either 'Crisp' or 'Sharp' work better. Personally, I only use 'Smooth' for larger fonts... But at the end of the day, try them and see.

    cool thanks for the help some times it gets tough working on a program you don't know much about. Do you know of a place where it has some good tutorials?

    Well if you can take what i have right now and just elaberate on it. I want a glossy glass type sig in black with my specs a cool windows weven forums logo and my skilled badge. if you want I can attach my PSD file so you don't have to start from scratch if you want?

    I probably could've done the glassy effect a bit better, but I'm about to leave work so I'm running out of time today... But what about something like this (click for full view):
