Windows 7: Icons not filling up taskbar?

I just now noticed that my icons in my task bar are not their full size. I don't know why they're doing it. It's not set on 'small icons.' I've tried switching it back and forth and it's still like that. Any reason?

Hello and welcome Zevoxa just as matter of interest why do you need them bigger than that? I only ask because mine look exactly the same is it a visual thing or purely decorative?

Right click anywhere on the taskbar > Properties and then see my pic

I already said it wasn't set on 'small icons' :s
But, regular task bars don't have that tiny gap between the bottom of the screen and the box around the icons.

Sorry mate I was just checking see some of mine actually touch the top and bottom and some like snip do not it may lie in the settings for icons.
Try Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > Advanced (top button) > then scroll through the list I am sure there are features there that control the appearance of icons . See pic

Right click on start orb, click on properties, select taskbar tab then click on what is circled in red and it will tell you how to change size of taskbar. That should make it so the box fills taskbar.
