Screensaver lockout-Not remembering the domain name
I have a Windows 7 screensaver issue in our enviorment.
Default screensaver is set with 10 min.
Screensaver triggers after 10 min and locks the computer. When we unlock the computer it asks for username , password and displays the domain which machine is part of. Lets say domain x.
We we lock the computer manually , it just asks for password. Automatically takes domain\users name and only we need to give password. User is joined to domain y in this case so when we unlock it gives us y/username and only need to give password to unlock.
what is the reason of this different behavior. When screen saver triggers i want unlock screen to come in domain\user format as it comes when i lock it manually.
Please note that I have used domain names as x and y in above scenario.
X is the domain which window 7 desktop is joined to and user who is logging into machine is from y domain.
To add more , we have applied a local group policy " Interective logon"Display user infomation when session is locked" user dislpay name , domain and usernames.
Please suggest for fix.
